Thank You to our 2025-2026 Cougar Fund Donors
Thank you Cougar family for donating generously to our once-a-year Cougar Fund! We have collected over $170k, exceeding our goal of $135k! Corporate Matches always play a critical role and I am so thankful to the parents and guardians going the extra mile to acquire those funds. We had 90% of our families participate with 11 Cougar Champions (contributing >$2,500), 44 Cougar Sustainers (contributing >$1000), 119 Cougar Patrons (contributing >$450), 113 Cougar Boosters (contributing >$250), and 147 Cougar Supporters (contributing >$1). I also want to acknowledge our donors via special mentions on our website and digital newsletters as well as in event programs. Our Cougar Champions and Sustainers will receive priority seating at Honors Day in January and in May. Also of note, this is the first year where we had multiple alumni families donate because they believe in what KMS is doing and have seen the transformation first-hand. We cannot be excellent without you!
We had 100% student participation with over $3k donated in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and bills in the Penny Wars where the 5th grade Skimmers won it all! All grades will be rewarded with fresh air time (100% Homeroom Participation) and large candy bars (100% Team Participation). Skimmers will receive a delicious, freshly popped popcorn party (Winning Teaching Team) and well-earned bragging rights for the rest of the year! To top it off, Mr. Daniell will have a surprise for all the students!
Your contributions have already been put to work by funding in-school field trips, providing cultural learning experiences, and allowing us to send more of our teachers and staff to attend national conferences where they bring back the latest and greatest to keep our students on top of their game. KMS parents and guardians, we cannot be the #1 elementary school in Georgia without you! Truly, thank you!
