Greetings KMS Families, Your Welcome Back Survival Guide is here! Take a look and get excited for the first day of school! The very important registration email sent last week is available below. Please be sure you've read it carefully. We are still missing about 30 students from the school registration form. Dr. Neely sent each missing family a personalized email with a reminder if it was not yet filled out. We need 300 more families to complete the PTA registration process. But first, learn more about supporting our school through the Blue & Gold Fund! Enjoy this beautiful Sunday! |

| Kittredge’s PTA depends on the generosity of parents to provide critical financial and human resources to enrich the experience of each child. This is our third year of streamlining fundraising into an annual Blue and Gold Fund. The Fund eliminates the need for additional fundraising activities throughout the year, such as Boosterthon, selling wrapping paper, art auctions, etc. Your donation at the beginning of the school year is critical to our ability to have the resources for our annual budget. The Blue & Gold Fund suggested donation for the 2017-2018 year is $125 per student (less than $1 per school day). Our goal this year is to meet and exceed last year’s amount and importantly to raise the level of participation toward 100%. 100% of your tax deductible donation will be used to enhance the educational experience of EVERY student and faculty member. All donations, large and small, make a difference.
Ways To Give - During Online registration via Kittredge PTA website.
- By check or cash at the August 2nd Registration day
- If you would like to split your donation between several months, please contact Tiffany Bok at tiffanybok@yahoo.com.
Visit our PTA website for more information. |

| We are so excited to welcome all of you back to KMS this year! We extend a special welcome to all of our new families! We can't wait to see all of you next week. Here's what you need to bring to Open House: Your KMS student PTA fast-pass Photo ID + proof of residency (gas, water, power bill, other items here ) Cash, check or credit card to purchase spirit wear and/or complete your PTA checkout (if not done online) Optional: bring your school supplies to leave in homeroom
Steps to Open House - The first thing you will do upon arriving at KMS is check-in at the proof of residency table located in the main lobby of the school.
- FAST PASS holders go straight to the cafeteria. Those without the FAST PASS will complete the PTA registration process in the library, then go to the cafeteria. You will buy spirit wear and get other school information (transportation, clubs, etc.) in the cafeteria. When this is done, you'll get an official hall pass to homeroom.
- Proceed to your child's homeroom where you will complete a limited amount of district-required paperwork, meet your child's teacher, and take care of other classroom odds and ends. The items you purchased online through the PTA website (recorder, sketch book, etc) will be waiting for you in homeroom.

He has taught students of all ages in the North Georgia area. During his student teaching, Mr. Arrington-Tsao worked with the Elbert County High School Bands, which achieved Superior ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluation.
